WESTWOOD, N.J. [September 1, 2026] – Pascack Valley Medical Center is pleased to welcome Mamta M. Mamik, M.D., M.Sc., FACOG, FACS, a board-certified and highly trained gynecologic surgeon whose expertise spans female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, neuropelveology, endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. 

Dr. Mamik brings more than a decade of experience caring for women with complex pelvic floor and gynecologic conditions. She is dedicated to helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and improve quality of life through compassionate, individualized care.

Expertise in Treating Complex Women’s Health Conditions 

Dr. Mamik specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of conditions that can significantly impact quality of life, including pelvic floor disorders, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, and pelvic nerve disorders. She is particularly passionate about addressing these often underdiagnosed conditions, which she describes as “silent epidemics” in women’s health. Her expertise includes neuropelveology, an emerging field focused on disorders involving the pelvic nervous system. 

Advanced Training, Leadership and Academic Contributions 

Dr. Mamik completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University and subsequently completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. She also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the University of New Mexico. 

Dr. Mamik is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). She holds a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Focused Practice Designation from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Level 1 and Level 2 certifications in Neuropelveology through the International Society of Neuropelveology. Dr. Mamik is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). 

An accomplished researcher and educator, Dr. Mamik has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and national presentations focused on pelvic floor disorders, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and women’s health outcomes. She also participates in international surgical outreach efforts, helping provide life-changing care to women in underserved communities.
