About Danielle Groves, M.D.

Dr. Groves is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As a physiatrist, she specializes in musculoskeletal medicine and pain management. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2004 where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Groves has extensive experience treating acute injuries as well as managing chronic pain caused by arthritis, tendonitis, neuropathy and herniated discs. She offers a comprehensive approach to pain conditions and her focus on function helps her patients get back to an active lifestyle. Dr. Groves prides herself on being able to partner with her patients in setting goals and guiding them to make the best treatment decisions possible.
Dr. Groves has a special interest in lower back pain and interventional pain management. She is proficient in electrodiagnostic testing, also called EMGs. She often teams up with physical therapists, chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and rheumatologists to help patients receive the best comprehensive care.
An avid sports fan, there is only one thing Dr. Groves loves more than cheering on the NY Giants or the NY Rangers, and that is cheering on her own boys at hockey rinks around the country.
