Maternity services

Our maternity center offers expecting mothers and their families a safe, nurturing environment so you can fully experience the magic of welcoming a new child into your life.

Our maternity center features:

• Two C-section suites
• Six labor and delivery rooms
• 18 private postpartum rooms
• Level II NICU for babies needing extra support

The staff at our maternity center is committed to your complete care. For this reason, we provide expecting mothers with a range of holistic care options, treatments, and features. This includes birthing balls, hydrotherapy showers and tubs, individualized birth plans, massage and aromatherapy techniques, rocking chairs for you and your baby, and skin-to-skin contact with your baby whenever possible. We also offer a full spectrum of care for women who may have a high-risk pregnancy.

Breast health program

Our breast health program is designed to provide comprehensive breast care services in a comfortable and supportive environment. Our women’s care physicians believe that successful breast cancer treatment begins with early detection. Once we receive your diagnostic test results, we will create a personalized treatment plan based on your specific needs.

We work alongside our Imaging Center to offer various screening services, including:

• 3D mammography
• AI breast screenings
• Breast biopsy
• Breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
• Breast ultrasounds
• DEXA scans
• Digital 2D mammography
• High risk evaluations and screenings for breast cancer
• Large-field mammography for large or dense breasts
• Radiology consultations, by request
• Routine breast screenings
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration

All imaging procedures are performed by trained healthcare professionals using state-of-the-art equipment. In addition, our mammography services are accredited by the American College of Radiology. We also provide specialized scans for more serious conditions.

Our goal with the breast care program is to provide you with the most accurate diagnostic information possible. We do this by employing the best possible physicians and team members, including:

• Board-certified medical, surgical and radiation oncology providers within the Hackensack Meridian Health network
• Board certified and fellowship trained breast surgeon
• Doctors board certified in diagnostic radiology (fellowship training in women’s imaging?)
• Lymphedema specialists in the physical therapy
• Mammography and ultrasound technologists certified in mammography
• Surgical team of reconstructive plastic surgeons

Saving lives through early detection of breast cancer and other conditions is our greatest privilege. We offer online scheduling for mammograms, and free valet parking at our hospital. The breast center is conveniently located on the ground floor.
