About Jasmine Thai, M.D.

Dr. Jasmine Thai is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders. She holds certification in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (RhMSUS) through the American College of Rheumatology and completed training through the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists, which she uses as a diagnostic and treatment tool to support early intervention and improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Thai’s clinical expertise includes treating a broad range of systemic autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, axial spondyloarthritis, osteoarthritis, and mixed connective tissue disease. She specializes in the use of advanced imaging and evolving therapeutics to enhance diagnosis and treatment precision.

Her care philosophy centers on providing individualized, patient-focused care that considers not only biological factors but also the social and environmental influences that affect overall health. She takes time to educate patients and collaborate on treatment plans aligned with their goals and values, ensuring a compassionate and comprehensive approach to care.

Dr. Thai earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at The Ohio State University. There, she also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Thai enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga, and creating pottery. These activities allow her to stay grounded and inspired.
