He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He also has special interests in the prevention of foreign travel related disease and in the prevention of hardening of the arteries. He is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine and has been practicing in Bergen County for over fifteen years.

Dr. Gokhale is a professional who likes his job and it shows. He is so thorough and always will check out an answer immediately if he is unsure. He respects other medical professionals and does not give the impression that he is all knowing but he is a life long learner which I appreciate as a former teacher and administrator. I highly recommend him.

I am 61 yrs old and have been going to the "Pascack Valley Medical Group" for decades. My recent visit with Dr Gokhale was only my second anual physical with him (my previous Dr retired), and I am more satisfied/comfortable with him as my Dr than I have ever been (nothing against my previous Dr, but Dr Gokhale is a welcome upgrade).
