About Sylva Takvorian, M.D.
Sylva Takvorian, M.D., strives to empower her patients to live as healthy of a life as possible. She believes this is best achieved “by addressing a person as a whole, promoting their innate healing, optimizing their lifestyle, and using a multidisciplinary evidence-based approach.”
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Takvorian provides primary care and preventative services. She treats patients for both acute and chronic disease management at her practice. Dr. Takvorian finds that her ability to recommend complementary modalities in conjunction with traditional interventions has assisted many of her patients achieve wellness.
She received her medical degree from University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. She went on to complete an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona. She is board certified by the American Board of Integrative Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
When Dr. Takvorian is not attending to her patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. As a nature lover, she enjoys walking outdoors and hiking trails. When she’s not spending time with her family or adventuring in the outdoors, you’ll find Dr. Takvorian in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes.
