About Robert Pittman, M.D.
Dr. Pittman completed his postgraduate training in Gastroenterology at Mt. Sinai in New York. While he treats a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions, Dr. Pittman has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease and is skilled in capsule endoscopy and radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus. He has authored peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters on both inflammatory bowel disease and capsule endoscopy. Dr. Pittman serves on the medical advisory committee of the NJ Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America and is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Pittman is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology.
